8 and under leagues

Termites (6U) & Mites (8U)

Our in-house programs for kids under 8 are designed to help young players learn and enjoy hockey in a fun, supportive, and low-commitment environment.

Practices are held twice a week throughout the season on Mondays and Wednesdays. Families can choose from Fall, Winter, or Full-Season registration options.

For Mite players, some optional travel tournaments are available throughout the season. We also host our annual "Rinkin' in the New Year" tournament, which provides both Mite and Termite players with an exciting opportunity to participate in tournament play.

Our program is best suited for players ages 4 and older.

Equipment

BAHA provides an equipment rental program for $125 for the season. This includes all equipment needed. This service is intended for Termite and Mite players (ages 4-8).

Prerequisites

Players must be able to move forward independently on the ice before participating in the Termite or Mite programs. For children who have never skated, we strongly encourage them to complete our Learn to Skate program first. More information can be found here: Learn to Skate Registration
