Our Mission
Our mission is to provide quality, affordable, and disciplined competitive and recreational hockey. BAHA is dedicated to the development of youth through the game of hockey and is committed to providing young people the opportunity to have fun on the ice while learning the skills of skating and the game of hockey. Membership is available to all interested youth regardless of socio-economic background.
Our Core Values
Respect
Our players, coaches, managers, and families are taught to respect teammates, opponents, officials, and facilities at all times.
Development
We challenge our players to consistently learn, both on and off the ice. We encourage each player to become a better person and build new life-skills, which will lead to success in all aspects of their lives.
Enjoyment
We want coaches, players, and families to enjoy their time with our program and the game of hockey. We teach everyone to enjoy the process and not just focus on the final goal.
Teamwork
Our players are coached to always support their teammates and to help each other become the best version of themselves. There is an emphasis on maintaining a good attitude and giving maximum effort while being accountable to everyone on the team.
VIRTUE
We have created a standard of excellence that must be upheld by coaches and players at all times.
Gallatin Ice
In 2006, the Gallatin Ice Foundation—now Gallatin Ice—was formed as an extension of BAHA to help raise funds for long-term facility growth to meet increased demand for public skating, figure skating, and youth and adult hockey programs.
Since its inception, our facility has grown from a seasonal rink to a four season, two-rink arena that is putting Bozeman, Montana on the national stage as a destination for ice sports.
As a nonprofit organization, Gallatin Ice's mission is to keep skating affordable, accessible, and attainable for all in the Gallatin Valley.
