Icedogs Youth Travel

The Bozeman Icedogs are our competitive travel teams that practice in Bozeman and play games around the state. Our travel hockey programs offer a competitive and structured environment for players looking to take their game to the next level. Designed for athletes who are ready for a higher level of commitment, these teams compete against other clubs and participate in regular practices, games, and tournaments.

With divisions available across multiple age groups, players receive focused coaching, skill development, and game experience throughout the season. Travel hockey provides an opportunity to challenge athletes, build teamwork, and compete at a higher level while representing the program on and off the ice.

Tryouts for the 2026-2027 season will be held the week of September 14th-20th. Each group will have two on-ice sessions with practices beginning the week of September 21st. 

Games
Each team plays in the MAHA Treasure State League (TSL) where they play 16-18 league games and have a state tournament. In addition, we host one tournament per age group and teams attend 1-2 other tournaments per season.

Practices
Each teams practices 2-3 times per week. Older groups may have off ice, dryland training as determined by the coaches

Jerseys
Jerseys are club-owned - they are checked out at the beginning of the year and are expected to be returned in good condition.

Coaches Travel Fees
Teams with a non-parent coach, or a parent coach at 14U and older are responsible for covering their travel expenses. This is calculated and collected by BAHA once the game schedules are completed in the Fall.
